The sale of energy in ACT is covered by a range of laws, codes, regulations, guidelines and consumer protection legislation. If you would like more information about codes or guidelines contact the Independent Competition and Regulatory Commission (ICRC) at www.icrc.act.gov.au.
Your energy agrement
The Contract Information Booklet (340KB) contains the regulations and agreements that you need to know about. It includes:
- The EnergyAustralia Contract Conditions
This sets out the contract conditions that will apply in addition to those on the Energy Offer if you accept an EnergyAustralia Energy Offer.
- The EnergyAustralia Customer Charter
This is a summary of your rights and obligations under our contract.
- The EnergyAustralia Disclosure Statement
This sets out important information about your contract as required by the ACT Consumer Protection Code.
Residential Market Agreement Customer Price Lists - Electricity and Gas
Rates for EnergyAustralia’s market agreement customers from 1 July 2008. These rates apply to customers who have taken up a market agreement with EnergyAustralia and whose agreement rates are linked to the regulated rates. Call us on 13 15 02 if your agreement rates are not linked to regulated rates.
