With many varied opportunities to contribute to our growth, our Commercial Graduate Program provides a versatile and rewarding environment for you to fast-track your career. Working on a two-year rotational program you can look forward to five core placements - gaining experiences and exposure across the organisation to build skills and capabilities - from day one you will be working in a genuine position, with real responsibilities! Rotations are primarily based in Sydney, with opportunities also in Newcastle.

Your Professional and Personal Development
In addition to rotations across the business, EnergyAustralia’s investment in your development is comprehensive - commencing with a one week induction.
Examples of the professional and personal development opportunities include:
- Mentoring Program: A mentoring program has been introduced to parallel the graduate program with the aims of assisting you in developing skills, establishing strong networks within the business and in planning your career
- Graduate Development Project: In your first year you will be given the opportunity to undertake a business project where you will learn project management and team skills while focusing on a specific business issue
- Leadership Camp: This one week residential program will give you the opportunity to enhance your leadership and teamwork capabilities, and will provide opportunities for networking with your peers
- Employee Study Assistance Scheme
Other specific skill development and business training is also encouraged throughout the graduate program and your rotations.
What we are looking for in a graduate
We’re looking for Business, Commerce and combined Commerce/Law graduates with majors in;
- Accounting
- Economics
- Information Systems / Technology
- Marketing
- Finance
- Human Resources
You’ll need a strong academic record and the ability to demonstrate capabilities in Customer Focus, Commercial Results, Leadership & Teamwork, Communication, Agility and Problem Solving & Decision Making.
