CIVIL CONTRACT MANAGER

The Civil Construction Management Section (CCM) is a team of about 20 people located at Homebush and Wallsend. CCM is part of EnergyAustralia’s Projects Branch and is focussed on delivering the Civil Construction component of EnergyAustralia’s Network Capital Program. Most of EnergyAustralia’s Civil Building work is contracted out and the Section is responsible for all aspects of Civil Contractor Management including the procurement process and ongoing management.
You will be responsible for the management and leadership of the Procurement and Civil Construction phase of major projects in your regional area.
Your duties will include:
- Determine type, format and scope of proposed contracts
- Prepare documents and manage the procurement processes, in line with the EnergyAustralia Procurement Policy, for the tender and post contract work
- Establish and manage the contract between EnergyAustralia and the selected Civil Contractor
- Control and Forecast the Costs and Schedules for each of the contracts
Prerequisites for the position are:
- Possession of Degree qualifications in: Engineering, Building Quantity Surveying or a Building related discipline. Possession of Post Graduate qualifications in Project Management would be desirable.
- A class C driver’s licence.
To be successful in this role your background will include:
- Extensive experience in the construction industry, with proven understanding of the approvals and design process and understanding of construction methodologies, techniques and sequencing.
- Wide ranging experience in contract development and administration on construction projects utilising various model standard forms of general conditions of contract, in particular AS2124the Australian Standard General Conditions of Contract.

MOTOR MECHANICS

We are seeking experienced mechanics with knowledge of, and experience in, servicing of trucks and plant with the ability to diagnose hydraulic, electrical and mechanical faults
To be considered you must have:
- Completed a trade course in Automotive Light or Heavy Vehicle and or Plant Mechanic and hold a MVRIC licence/certificate.
- Demonstrated ability to work as a responsible member of a team and to prioritise work.
- Knowledge of and experience in, servicing trucks and plant.
- Ability to diagnose hydraulic, electrical and mechanical faults in vehicles and specialised plant.
- Hold a car driver’s (Class C) licence.
- Knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity and Management Systems.
- Knowledge of safe work practices.

We are seeking an experienced Records Management Support Officer to provide high-level administrative support to our Information Services Unit to assist in delivering quality specialist records management advice and librarian services.
Reporting to the Manager Information Services, the Records Management Support Officer will be responsible for the compilation and delivery of reports and day-to-day management of the TRIM database.
The successful candidate will have the ability to work independently and prioritise work to meet deadlines and have proven knowledge of functional classifications and disposal authorities, as well as demonstrated experience in an electronic document and records management system – preferably Trim.
Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in records management are required, as well as excellent organisational, written and verbal communication skills. Thorough knowledge of Microsoft packages, in particular Excel, is essential.

We are seeking a fit and active person experienced in warehousing pick and receive duties. The person we seek will be a safe and competent forklift and/ or reach truck operator.
To be considered you must have:
- Ability to select, pack and acquit customer orders. Receive, inspect, and warehouse incoming goods. Licensed and competent to operate a forklift up to 3 tonne capacity and/or Reach Truck up to six metre working height.
- Ability to work within a team environment so as to maximise the efficiency of the Warehouse and Distribution functions.
- Understanding and commitment to Equal Employment Opportunity, Occupational Health & Safety and Environmental Principles, Systems and Practices.

You will be responsible for observing and monitoring the safe work practices of contractors working within a live environment.
To be considered you must have:
- Trade Certificate III – System Electrician with sound knowledge and experience in construction and maintenance.
- Sound knowledge of safe work practices with the ability to pass EnergyAustralia’s Electrical Safety Rules test.
- Good oral and written communication skills with the ability to work as part of a team and deal with a variety of people, including members of the public.
- Good level of physical fitness with the ability to undertake construction related activities.
- Class C driver’s licence.

EnergyAustralia is seeking an experienced SAP PM (Plant Maintenance) Technical Assets Lead.
Working in this management/leadership role in the SAP support team you’ll be responsible for:
- Developing business requirements and analysis.
- PM Configuration.
- Design and implementation of application development (working with the development team).
- End user support.
- Operational management of the Assets Team.
You will be required to play a hands-on role in future development projects including release upgrades and maintain quality documentation related to system maintenance and enhancement.
As a Technical Assets Lead PM you’ll have:
- Proven and extensive practical experience in SAP PM configuration, implementation and support.
- A sound understanding of the integration of PM with the SAP R/3 core modules.
- Extensive understanding and experience in Software Development Lifecycle Concepts (SDLC).
- An understanding the SAP mobile asset management solution and its integration to SAP R/3
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or experience.
- Previous experience in Utilities asset management would be highly regarded.

We are seeking conscientious and committed persons with the ability to drive rigid and/or articulated trucks, operate truck mounted vehicle loading cranes and load, deliver and unload materials to maintain EnergyAustralia’s network. You will also be required to provide assistance to technicians providing maintenance services.
To be considered you must:
- Possess a class HR driver’s licence.
- Possess a sound knowledge of hand tools.
- Be physically fit, committed to safe working practices and able to work in a team environment. Suitable applicants will be required to undertake a pre-employment medical.

The positions will be attached to the Transmission Group located at Homebush, but the successful applicants must be prepared to work at other locations in the EnergyAustralia supply area and outside the franchise area, including works both interstate and overseas.
We are seeking a highly motivated individuals with current industry qualifications to work as Cable Jointers at voltages up to, 132 000 volts.
Applicants must be able to demonstrate a sound knowledge and experience in all aspects of sub-transmission jointing, including both solid and pressure dielectric constructed cables.
Applicants must be physically suited to undertake the full range of jointing and other physically demanding tasks associated with the installation of underground cable systems and associated equipment.
Applicants should possess or be eligible to obtain a Certificate 3 in Electrical Supply Industry – Transmission & Distribution Powerline and possess a Class C (1A) driver’s licence.
