EnergyAustralia is delighted to announce their new partnership with the RAA Show Your Card & Save program.
Here’s how it works1:
Call EnergyAustralia and enter into 3 year contracts for the supply of both electricity and gas, or electricity only, and receive 6%2 off the regulated rates, plus the following discounts off your RAA Membership renewal3.
Electricity and gas:
Receive $100 off your RAA membership over three years at the time of renewal ($40 in the first year, $30 in the second year, and $30 in the third year).
Electricity only:
Receive $70 off your RAA membership over three years at the time of renewal ($30 in the first year, $20 in the second year, and $20 in the third year).
Additional savings.
RAA members who pay their EnergyAustralia bills by automatic payment receive an additional total $30 credit on their electricity account over the term of the contract.

1 Offer subject to contract terms and conditions. Offer only available to residential customers who consume less than or equal to 160MWh of electricity per year and less than or equal to 1TJ of gas per year and have natural gas connected to the premises. EnergyAustralia is not able to supply all geographic areas. Offer not available to existing EnergyAustralia Market Contract customers. If your gas or electricity is currently supplied under a Market Contract, this offer may not be of benefit to you and you may have to pay termination fees to your current retailer. You must meet EnergyAustralia's credit and other criteria. You are not obliged to enter into a Market Contract with EnergyAustralia or any other retailer. Offer is valid until 30/09/06.

The electricity and gas rates are the same as the regulated rates you would pay under standing contracts. The rates may change during the term of each contract in accordance with changes to the regulated rates. The gas rates may also change if our costs of supplying gas increase due to an "upstream event" as defined in the contract conditions.
3 To qualify for the RAA Membership credits, RAA members need to quote a valid Membership when they call EnergyAustralia. Members must hold a personal, financial RAA Membership in order to qualify for the offer. All Full, Associate, 50 Year Full, 50 Year Associate, TPI Plus, and Staff Retirees Plus Members qualify for the offer. TPI Standard, Honorary, Staff, Staff Retirees Standard, Life, Non-Motoring and Taxi Members qualify for the energy discounts, and may nominate another Member's Membership number to receive the discounts towards their Membership fees. Fleet Members are not eligible for this offer. Memberships which are on hold (suspended) or lapsed are not eligible for this offer. Each membership may only be allocated against one EnergyAustralia contract (i.e. one Membership cannot receive multiple discounts). The membership discounts cannot be exchanged for cash, assigned to another Membership or redeemed in any other way except against an RAA Membership fee, or at any other time except at the time of renewal. A Member who allows their membership to lapse will forfeit the RAA Membership discount. Any portion of a discount not redeemed at the time of renewal will be held over until the next renewal. Offer not available in conjunction with any other RAA offer.
