Safety rules and regulations are not limited to EnergyAustralia employees but also extend to anyone working on the EnergyAustralia electricity Network, including contractors.
EnergyAustralia is committed to keeping electrical contractors and accredited service providers informed of safety issues relevant to their work. We have prepared two safety plans that apply to work performed by electrical contractors and accredited service providers:
- Customer Installation Safety Plan covers electrical installation work (for electrical contractors) .
- Safety and Operating Plan covers contestable works on EnergyAustralia's network system (for accredited service providers).
These documents and other standards and guidelines can be accessed in the guidelines and standards section of our website.
