EnergyAustralia is replacing existing underground cables between its Ku-ring-gai ‘bulk supply point’ in Pymble and its Turramurra zone substation in Turramurra which are approaching time for retirement.
The replacement cables will be installed underground along a 3.5 kilometre route from Pymble to Turramurra, mostly under local road surfaces.
Work on the nine month project is due to be completed towards the end of 2009.
